A quick photo (98° outside!) of Swift Creek Reservoir in the western suburbs...

This was taken at Swift Creek Reservoir near one of the bays and pullover areas by one of the bridges a few hours ago.

I had to check on my daughter & son-in-law's dog for them, since they are on vacation in Nags Head, NC.  So, while I was out and had my Nikon D3500 with me, I stopped by the nearby reservoir and braved the heat and took quick photo from the nearby bridge and pullover area.  Beautiful area, lots of fancy houses, electric motor only type of boating, but mostly canoes, kayaks, and small sailboats.  Look at the reflections I got at 70mm!

.This was a quick photo, spur of the moment, kind of thing. I wonder what I could have done differently if I had more time... What do you think?

Make: NIKON CORPORATION

There are two art forms in photography. The first is the capture
and the second is the rendition. There are so many ways to cap-
tures and just as many to render.

In this case, some more mid tonal taming would had more life
in the colour and, so, better details.

If my language is too obscure, I could translate on your jpg.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I agree with NS. The scene is pretty nice though. The reflection is so good.

That water looks like glass.  With the weather as warm as it has been, I'd be jumping in that!

I think the colors needs to be enhanced.

I agree. I want to see the colors of the trees more vividly and the clouds too. However the reflection is beautiful here.
