Old shack - old truck - new location

G'day all

Came across this scene while meandering across country New South Wales - created by the farmer alongside the highway

Many of us 'stoppers' took some pics, phones always in use, but I was the only one (while we were there) to actually walk the fenceline to get pics from 3 or 4 directions ... shadows etc.  I've chosen this one as the house on the hill behind is hidden by the tree in the foreground

As always, feedback welcome

That's an awesome picture. I'd love to find something like that on my travels.

Also, is that a BMW emblem on the side wall of the shack?    Dude's got dreams, hey?

I could believe this was taken in New Mexico of somewhere down there!
Good shot but I'm wondering… isn't it a tad yellow?

G'day NS

Yellow? .... dunno mate

1) our two monitors are vastly different (mine's a simple laptop)
2) the Aussie grasses (like other things) reflect different colours depending upon angles to the sun etc

Looking at the two side by side, my suggestion looks
a tad on the magenta side but it is the eye that tricks
it… after a moment alone, it get normal.

How does this look like on your screen?

G'day NS

Thanks for that experiment
Your final pic looks a bit 'cold' on my laptop screen - but not significantly different overall

cold and magenta on my end.

This spot needs to
be revisited with better lighting. Looks a bit washed out.
