agreed, see if you can save highlights, use a gradient with soft light as well.

When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk
All that you are left with are the memories and the images-David Cooke.

That was very interesting. He also spoke about clipping. Looking at the histograms of photos I took today I can see clipping on both ends of the spectrum. I take this means the ISO was set too high (according to the video clipping in the low end is less of an issue). Today's photos were taken with the ISO set to 100-200 and yet there was a ton of clipping. And the photos are still not sharp, they just look very muddy.
