Second Lake

A close to home spot that seems to be one of those places that you can keep going back to for great images.

Second Lake and First Lake are separated by a small road that leads to a small beach, and also branches off to Third Lake.  First Lake is massive and is open facing west, so I can't wait until summer time Milky Way trials from there.  Unless it's relatively windy, both First and Second Lakes are just like mirrors.

Thanks for looking

I appreciate the contrast of the shot. Nice render here.

G'day mate

Wonderful depth and tones through these images ~ you have done well

Of the two, I prefer #2 as it fits my screen easier, but maybe a print of #1 would show it off very nicely ~ one of those things that only you can come up with!

I generally prefer horizontal landscapes, but in this case, I kind like that vertical shot a little better.
