G'day all

Traversing some of New South Wales' best grain growing regions, and the western plains provide a rich harvest exported around the world

ps- as many of you will also know, the Warrumbungles are also the home of the world-famous Siding Spring observatory that is part of the international grouping of observatories seeking information from the stars going back to the big-bang

Did you actually drop in on the observatory and check out the big-gun telescopes ? : they are awesome optical pieces .

Not this time - we've been 'up there' several times over the years - and there was a sign at the entry saying 'observation centre closed for maintenance' ... this trip we just meandered thru the hills & valleys as left from the volcanic cones of 50k+/- yrs ago and enjoyed the views

I love #2 and actually bet a close up with nothing but wheat filling the frame would look nice too.
