what did you meter in the sky ? the middle cloud seems to be about 18% or so... Good captures with nice oranges and yellows

Thanks much! I spot metered on the hole in the center. The funny thing of it is I didn't know much about metering back then.

Careful Dori. You are exposing me as a mediocre photographer that has a really beautiful chain of lakes to shoot on. Up until now I have been taking credit for capturing these types of fantastic shots. We are fortunate to have these views available for us. Beautifully done lass. :judge:

I have to agree with everyone on how splendid these photos are, but, isnt there always a but, I would lose the blue, just try it and see if you agree, clone it out or if you have the spot healing brush with content aware use that, I could be totaly wrong and usualy am so feel free to ignore me as they are good as they are. :judge: :judge: :judge:
