Concert Photography

Hello,
I am new when it's about photography but lately I've been really into concert photpgraphy but i don't really know what kind of lenses are the best for that.
I've got Canon 70D with kit lens and Canon 24 mm.
Which lenses are the best for that kind of photography ?  I would like to buy one wide angle and one zoom because I'm thinking about shooting big venues.
Thanks for help

Depends on your distance from the stage!

I use a 70-200mm in theaters up to 1500 seats, and it gives me files that allow for strong cropping, if needed. If you are thinking of something like a stadium, well....you will need a bigger...um, lens:)

You want fast glass and a good sensor. Many concert photographers keep an 85 f/1.8 or f/1.4, or the 50mm version, handy, as well as a fast 35 or 24 (you want the latter, or even a 20). As for a zoom, the best you'll get is f/2.8, so much depends upon what you can afford.

And, as stated, where you'll be.
