NiSi 100mm System V5-PRO Filter Holder vs B+W XS-Pro HTC Kaesemann CP?

5 years 3 months ago #626545 by Mason Latka
I ordered a filter holder from NiSi last week the 100mm V5-Pro and over looked it had a built in polarized filter. I have some Format Hitech and Lee filters my wife bought me, but no bracket, which is why I bought this.  When I ordered this V5, I ordered a B+W  XS-Pro  HTC Kaesemann circular polarizer too.  Well both have arrived and I see I now have 2 polarized filters.  But looking at the NiSi one that is built into this bracket looks lighter in color.  The B+W looks like it brings more saturation into things.

Call it my inexperience, but I'm not sure which is a better circular polarizer? If I don't need two, I'd rather send the B+W back and get my $$ back.

Can you help me decide please?  Thank you!

Put each on your camera, and take photos while trying to eliminate reflectsion (glass or water) and how they affect a clear blue sky (with the sun at your left or right shoulder). One may be superior... or not. But that will tell you which you prefer.
