Looking for advices on ND and Circular Polarizing filters

4 months 3 days ago #685290 by Florent
Hello all,

I want to buy my first ND (6 stops) and Circular Polarizing filters but my budget is a bit limited...

For the ND filter, I was thinking about buying the HOYA PRO ND64 62mm. Is it good or should I rather get a different one in that price range (GOBE for example)? Or should I invest a bit more and get the BW FILTRO ND-106 GRIS 64X 62?

For the Circular Polarizing, I've seen that HOYA PRO1 DIGITAL CIRCULAR POLARIZING FILTER and the TIFFEN 62CP were doing a pretty good job, what do you think? Which one would be the best?

I'd be glad to hear any advice you can give me on the subject.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Florent

Spending too much is also spending on things that won't do
the job and having to replace your purchase.

Whatever you go for, get first a step up ring that will prevent
vignetting when stacking filters… specially with wide angles.

Light is free… capturing it is not!
