Tears

Tears is from my Naturally Abstract collection and was composed at Hopeland Gardens in Aiken, SC.  I loved the colors and shapes formed by this tree sap.

Really good abstract. The sap looks like a lizard.

BTW, what inspired you to make abstract subjects like this one?

Stephen,
All of my pieces have an entry in my The Artist's Story blog post.  The best way for me to explain the inspiration is to point you to that blog post entry as that is exactly what my posts normally cover.  This will be the first link in the series of compositions from that tree.  I hope you find it interesting and enjoyable.  :-)
