I do like spiders
This is a male common giant house spider (Latin names Tegenaria gigantea, or more recently Eratigena duellica) - not fully grown but getting there. I moved him onto a more conducive background rather than the carpet in the living room, but he didn't mind one bit!
This was taken last year using my diffused ringflash. I have now replaced that flash with a twin flash unit, so 2021 will see a hopefully improved light source.
