...is when I found things so small, that were then seen so much larger that they were transformed, the bug bit and never let go...

One of my earliest macro images was back in 2012 - the spores growing on a tomato that had sat in a food waste bin for a couple of days...

I saw it as mouldy fluff, but once I got in really close, it amazed me...
