It is an attempt at moving my photography past sharp well composed work. This is something I have tried to do for quite a few years now. I have it at 16X20 hung on a wall in my home. I worked hard to get the texture and lighting right for my eye. I do have other close ups of Amaryllis, but more conventional type shots. From time to time I will post these photos, and I hope you all will bear with me in my efforts.
Thanks for your patience in advance.

Very interesting. It doesn't look like a flower to me, it looks like a lobster. :)

Hello,

Allow me to commend you for pushing the envelope of conventional mindset, art in general in my view is ''the known'' or the ''norm'' but it is also the ''unknown'', thanks to artist like yourself, our journey of discovery of new art and interpretation, is always on the horizon...thank you for joining me in providing diverse ''flavors for our photographic palate''.
BRAVO !

Regards,
jacque

As do most of us. WHAT each of us sees is often different.

What does cataracts have to do what what each of us sees is often different.

It is true...everyone see art in a different way.... cataracts or not.

My sight is fine thank you. I started taking photos around 1963. My father before me was a pro. photographer just after WW II. So I come from good stock. I've Hass. Nikon and Cannon cameras. This is just to introduce my self. The photos I post here are exsactly what I want them to be. They are as sharp; or as blured; as I want them to be. I know how to shoot snap sharp well composed photos, and have since I graduated from a small photography class over 30 years ago. What I said about seeing what you wanted is what meant to say. The flower shot is more a study of shadows and color than the sharp image. This is what I chose to share with you. I'm sorry you missed the point; and I appoligize for not making this clearer in the beginning. Happy shooting! BTW ...... B&W in my world is "Black and White"

I went and saw your photos. Wonderful use of colors and comp. I enjoyed them all very much. The close-up of the bird was really a great choice of subject and cropping. I recomend any and all go and enjoy them.
