You got that right. I have a couple of the 3 eggs while mama was away. It;s a tight spot but I will get them.

About 50%. Couldn't get too close and the nest is under a dark porch that required a long exposure. Didn't want to freak out mama. Respect for the bid was my fist concern. Next time, I'll try to sneak the tripod over.

I found this nest with two babies today in a tree beside the rail trail. I have no idea how I spotted it. They're a bit fuzzy because I was hand-holding at near full zoom.
