:agree:

You must have good fox karma. They are skittish animals. Good catch! :)

Awww, thank you all so much, I really appreciate your comments. Yes Rich, I talk to them all.... One time, and I swear to God this happened..... there were 3 deer at the other end of the boggy area out behind the shop (it's about the length of a football field or more away). I just started talking to them and they all started walking towards me, in about 15 minutes or so they were about 20 feet away..... Pretty cool huh? lol,you probably are all gonna think I'm nuts but they do come closer when I start talking to them, I've found myself in some amazing situations.... :)

Nice photo.........;)
I have a few of them in my area, they don't let me get too close, and I RARELY see them in daylight.

Why so serious?

I like this shot a lot! I missed a couple of golden opportunities for some wildlife shots the other day. Took my dog with me on a hike and left the camera at home. Sure enough, I spotted a young doe and a rattlesnake, and the sunset lighting was just beautiful.

The moral of the story: if you have to choose between taking the dog or the camera, take the camera!

Unbelievable...right after I mentioned missing that great opportunity, it happened again! I went and had lunch at a park near my office and 2 peacocks decided to come hang out by my car. I snapped a quick pic by sticking my phone out the window, but man do I ever wish I had my camera with me!

(Here's the crappy cameraphone pic :) )

Thank you all so much! Ernesto, I've Never been this close to one before-I saw several last spring but the pics turned out pretty crappy cause they were too far away.
Roy, You should ALWAYS take your camera with you.....lol, it never fails, if you leave it at home Something exotic or unusual is bound to cross your path. That's a pretty Peacock you posted, where the heck are you located anyway? Rattlesnakes, Deer, Peacocks all roming around....Wow!
