The first two images the whites are blown..The egret and the water behind the egret...to prevent the blown whites you need to
use -ec about .7.If you can bracket use that function.The grasshopper is out of focus...The birds are out of focus too but the grass
in front is sharp...put the focus on the bird...
Shooting wildlife is very difficult but with practise you will get there Amanda.Just hang in there.If you want more detailed help
just ask i`m sure we all will give you the help you will want.
The waterfall has alot of potential,love the composition.

:agree: with all the others. In my opinion you have a phographers eye and this is something you can not just learn . I think it is a mixture of talent, knowledge, luck and equipment. But expensive equipment is not garantee for brilliant photos. What is the best equipment good for when the person behind the lens is unable to use it.
So Amanda, keep up with photography. Can´t wait for more photos from you to come :-)
