I agree, it's really difficult to shoot birds when the light is horrible. (lol, that didn't sound too good but you know what I mean). But you got them, great job! ;)

Thank you. I was really surprised they came out as well as they did. It was dark, rainy, drizzly, and freezing all day! I didn't want to get my camera outside, so I was shooting from my back door. LOL

The Canon 75-300mm is the "biggest" I have, & it will have to do for a while. I did however get a chair blind. Once I have a chance to get out there, I think I can get close enough without disturbing them to get them into frame much better. here's a link

Another tactic some of us birders use is the remote shutter release. Set the tripod close to the feeder and stand off or sit in the kitchen and shoot away.

Don't mind at all.... feel free. Now that you brought it to my attention, I agree white throated sparrow. I am not yet convinced about the Junco, BUT, since I am new at this will go along.
