The DoF is so precise. Like this one a lot. Perfect time for the shot as well.

The shot emphasized the wingspan of the bird. But I think a little tweak in the exposure to make it brighter perhaps?

Cheers gentlemen! :P

I hear you Bobby. This shot is rigorously rendered with
the full DR in mind, expressing the late afternoon light
ambiance.

My clients do not want documentations but rather thea-
trical moods… I'm producing these for publishing purpo-
ses, remember? :)

I also didn't know that it is for theatrical purposes. But since you've mentioned it, can you help enlighten me how do you differentiate theatrical moods from documentation moods?

I spoke of publishing purpose I think, Rohan.

This pictures, like 14 others, were bought to illustrate a book
aimed at children education in ecology. The rendition is very
strictly technical — read no artistic intent applied — to repre-
sent the shooting conditions.

I created a fake centrefold layout to show why is was selected
for its tonal features that are a plus for the book.

The second rendition is, I suppose, what you would have liked
to see and is an interpretation of a documentation shot.

Beautiful capture on this one.  Timed it perfectly.  Not much to critique here honestly.  I do prefer the exposure upped a bit but I get your mission.

This is very informative. Thanks for this. i guess the purpose of the shot or the demand of the client is also a major factor in the output of the shot.

Yes, Jin, specially when one works with pros in the publishing
business world: layout artists, graphic designers, etc.
