You will notice the large testicle sack on the Anglo-Nubian goat, hence the reference to "masculinity" in the title.

:)

I didn't notice it.  But I guess it's the first thing some people look for/at

This looks really interesting. We can work with composition and framing but this is a good start.

The metal pole that extends from the animal's head is obnoxious, They are very high strung creatures, so it was a spontaneous capture. If I relocated with my camera, the animal quickly moves away.

I use a cell phone for almost all my images, so there is a latency in taking a picture.

And this is why I love working with animals! lol

Thats the nature of animal photography. It's imperative that you always be aware of your surroundings and backgrounds. In many cases, it's better to set up and let the animal come to you. This way, it's easier to ensure a clean background and foreground to the subject. Goats typically have climbing structures in their pens. It can be advantageous to set up on one of those, as it can change the background and composition to something more isolated.

This is a good advice. I am not a good wildlife photographer myself, so I will try this one too.

Excellent suggestion about letting the animal stroll over naturally to your location.
