Bird from the Brambles (Criticism appreciated!)

Hey everyone! I've not been on here in a little while. Life called, but I'm back to taking photos and would love some input. I originally thought this was a nice perspective when I snapped it, with the little sparrow peeking out from the branches, but now I'm not sure if it's too cluttered. Thoughts would be appreciated!

Sounds like you know the answer already. She's pretty camouflaged in your photo which doesn't make for much interest. Cropping and popping may help.

Hey there Danni,

Here's my thoughts.  The composition does feel cluttered to me especially in that environment.  It's hard to isolate the subject when he's right there in the thicket.  The image looks very noisy as well.  I would eliminate that in Lightroom and it'll make a big difference.  Also, the bird looks a bit blurred, probably due to camera shake/shutter speed.  Not a bad image, by any means but there could be some improvements made.

I think a tight crop will help improve this shot to reduce the clutters in the frame.

The blur surrounding the bird is really disturbing. I agree to Alyssa that a tighter crop will help.
