Two Birds of a Feather

I'm pretty sure none of these birds are mates, but hey. This was my attempt to isolate some geese out of a very large flock. I also tried to catch some of them as they took off, but I had a lot of trouble capturing that well, sadly.

Good shots. They are so uniform in the last shot.

While that was just good luck, there were times when basically all of the geese were in sync. When I was watching them, nearly all of them perked their heads and were staring at something, but I had no idea what for about 10 seconds... Turns out some geese were flying in from the lake. Also, mind you there were many more geese than I shot (probably about a couple hundred) and almost all of them looked up. Quite surreal.

I like the 3rd shot the most.

This is an interesting set. My only comment is about the story-telling of the shots. It lacks a a bit of points of interest.

:agree:

Light is free… capturing it is not!
