Des jonquilles! Déjà?

There is still some time ahead before we could enjoy these!

Light is free… capturing it is not!

G'day usc

Good to see you exploring and examining an otherwise 'ordinary' subject in a different way than normal. All to often we 'togs just stand around and go 'click' whereas with these pics you have explored the world while sitting on teh ground. A 'well done' from this perspective

If I may ...
The images to my eye could do with some extra treatment
image-4 (white flower) is getting close~ although perhaps next time just move the green stalk and dead flower head out of the frame

image-5 (yellow flower) loses a few points via the house in the background

image-6 from below shows a beaut camera angle, but I would prefer some of the right-side to disappear so that my eyes are held by the white flower

Otherwise - a beaut try for some 'ordinary' stuff into an 'extra'-ordinary manner

Hope this helps

G'day mate

yes - a good set of changes
may I also suggest for #1 as a starter ~ the whites of the petals look a tad grey, presumably from the weather.

Pop into 'Levels' and bring the white pointer leftwards until it meets the histogram and see if it could brighten the whites a bit. If you also wanted to add a bit of colour, maybe a 15%~20% boost to saturation and see if the yellows become brighter as well

Hope this helps

I think the second shot has a really interesting point of view. You can work it out with a little enhancement in the color.
