Both Brits and French had colonies in NA and both had passionate
scientific explorers that took back some samples of everything they
found… dead or alive.

The dead is still in museums exhibits but the aloe have the nasty ha-
bit to escape and conquer new territories… Europe is grateful. :P

The same applies to the Canada Goose — for which peace is never
an option — and so many other species.

Oh... Canadian geese.... eh... yeah.  They migrate to my hometown to make their nest in the most random and obnoxious places they can find.  And then they love to attack you for getting within 10m of it. NOT my favorite bird and they are protected from hunting.

Thanks for the info about the bird in your photo

We, Canadians, sent the birds as a first wave of invasion… our
plan is to take over the world with a quite sneaky strategy!

Don't presume I am a birder — I'm only interested on the light
that is falling on them. Knowing more about any given subject
is possibly the best asset when one aims to reach better ima-
ge hunting.
