Many birds appear to mate for life - I do not know whether these Rainbow Lorikeets are some that do, but this pair in a local tree were certainly enjoying some moments of togetherness

I discover upon reviewing these images that they have exposure EV @ +0,7 ..... a moment before these pics I was shooting another pair on the other side of the same tree, and they were in deep shade, so I had upped the exposure for them, And- forgot to reset it once I found this pair in the sunshine
