Fred Roger's Buttermilk Falls

Hi everyone, I visited these falls to practice taking pictures. I included some history which is pretty neat. Let me know whatcha think and what can I do to improve guys?

It started raining and an eerie fog rolled in. This is all that is left of the cottage. I didn't use my flash because I didn't want to scare the fairies. : )

Since you're asking... If this is nearby where you live, I would return to these falls in all the different seasons and search for that perfect lighting that usually happens during the early morning and late evening. Plus, the more you've experienced of a location, the more you "see" a location and you'll get more ideas.
Waterfalls are fun to use lenses w/extremes like wide and telephoto. Telephotos are fun w/waterfalls because theres a hundred little pictures you can take w/in the falls and isolate tiny little sections for more abstract compositional work.
For your first photos of the falls, nice shots. :)
I like that fog shot too

Agree with Karl, I will bet there are some great photos to be had at sun up, and in the fall you should be there, unless the water quits. Nice stuff.
I will ask, where is this, I will settle for a region......:)

Why so serious?
