they dont usually come with filters unless you buy a camera kit w/a filter included in it, but maybe you can negotiate the manager to throw in a filter in for you since you are making a major purchase.. or even at a discounted rate.

but these rectangular Grad N/D filters will work in front of any camera. you wont have to worry about it "not working" w/your camera.

ok i will ask my teacher next week about Graduated Netural Density Filter on the nikon d3100 and see if he know about it. i have a class on wednesdays with my photographer teacher. he is teaching me all kind of stuff about camera too. so i will ask him about that one and have him show me what a graduated netural dinsity filter is.

ok i will. and what lens are best for mountains? i have been useing 50mm and 100mm on mountains with my teacher camera nikon film camera

All focal length lenses are fine for mountains, it just depends on what effect you are looking for... (wide angle or zoom) ex: big wide expanse or a close up isolation of something. i like them all! You can be creative w/them all.
