For Whom the Bell Doth Toll...

I posted an album of my recent trip to the oldest clock tower in PA. It houses the first bells in the US to chime Westminister Quarters. Take a look & leave me comments on how I might get better images on my next trip when we go back to fix one of the looses gears. (Please keep in mind that these are tight quarters & some pics had to be taken on a ladder)

Fantastic set. Is this in Philly? If so, I don't know how I missed it.

Nice job on exposure control right across the whole set. A couple caught my eye -

Love the shadow of the colors on the white wall. Closeups would have been great.

Another good opportunity for closeups. In theory you could try cropping. But separate closeup shots would be better, as you could vary the viewpoint.

This Clock Tower is in Trinity United Methodist Church in Williamsport, PA It was a fairly quick walk through. i didn't have time on this trip to do a whole lot of detailed shots. I have been invited back on the next maintenance trip to get more. Thanks for all your suggestions, I am making a list of your suggestions to take with me.

This one is of the works that moves all the hands of all four the clocks at once..It's kinda dark in the tower so I had to use a long exposure but with the movement of the works it came out soft.. what would you suggest I do to be able to capture it better? I believe i had to us 1/125 & ISO 800

First choice would be to use a tripod. Second choice would be to bump up the ISO, a lot. Likely do both.
