Aspiring beginning digital photographer; a progress in work

B) Hello people, I discovered this website today, quite by accident, but wow, am I ever glad I did! I am a resident of Oak Creek, Wi. a small suburb fifteen minutes south of Milwaukee. I am a young 61, married, homeowner, and among many many things, a very passionate aspiring beginning digital photographer. As advertized, my roots lie in film photography. Many years ago, while living out in Colorado, I got heavily into photography, and even found a couple of mentors to help me along. Unfortunately, life happened and I failed to stick with it, choosing an alternate path in life. But at the time I used a Nikon FM II with a Nikon 35-135 f 3.5-4.5 lens to do my shooting with. Fast forwarding to the present; it has always been my desire to acquire a professional package of photography gear, camera, lenses, flash and accessories, but I never seemed to be focused enough to spend the money on this. I bought guns, I bought Harleys, I bought a boat, until finally, recently, I was able to put it all together and get this done. My package includes the following items: Canon D5 Mark II with battery grip, the new Tamron image stabilizer lens, 24-70 f 2.8, Canon 70-200 II f 2.8, 580 EX flash, quantum battery pack, a high speed 16 GB compact flash card, a pro tripod and monopod, and a pro backpack styled carrying case to hold all of this in. So then, now I have assembled the necessary items to shoot professional photos, what I lack, is the experience, knowledge and or tutelage to put it all together into one smooth operation. Thus, my excitement today when I discovered this website. I look forward to spending large amounts of time on here, observing and learning from others, tips, techniques, and or to become a proficient, successful photographer, capable of transferring my artistic ideas into photos for others to view, study and or digress on. I warmly welcome all of your thoughts, questions, comments, or points of view and look forward to interacting and sharing with you, the deep passion I have for painting with light as it were. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

The only thing that will stop you from fulfilling your dreams is you.
