So much to learn

5 years 4 months ago #620404 by W J T 1963
I got my 1st DSLR this year, we were going on a Baltic Cruise to St.Petersburg and I wanted to take better pictures.

I eventually decided to get the Nikon D7500 with a 18-200 F3.5-5.6G ED VRII travel lens.
I've also got a 50mm 1.8D.

Im trying to learn about exposure triangle, all the settings on the camera and trying not to use Auto.
I also have the Adobe Photography package to learn.

I work offshore and have plenty time to read up on photography, but I don't have my camera with me offshore, which is a pain.

We have five Grandchildren all under 4yr old and want to get some great family photos. I also walk my dogs for miles and love picturing them and landscapes.

Theres so much to learn and I applaud all you guys for having forums like these, whereby a novice like myself can learn from your wonderful skills.

Thank You
Bill

Ps : Ive uploaded some photos on my homepage and would like some constructive feedback if possible.
