New to Photography Talk

 Hello everyone,
I new to this forum and have no experience in photography. I am married and have a blended family with 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. I became very interested in photography because my husband and I have been doing a lot of foreign travel over the past six years. As of late, I realized the pictures taken on my iPhone were limited in how much they could be enlarged.

I went out and purchased a Fujifilm X T20 after I purchased it I didn't know what to do with it and have been reading a lot trying to teach myself. There are no places where I can go take a class where I live so I have resorted to YouTube for some guidance. Today I feel more confident about using the camera in manual mode but have no idea about what I am doing. I just take the camera outside and if it looks to light or dark through the viewfinder, I just start turning dials until it looks good to me. My biggest problem is taking sharp images which is why I am joining this forum, so that I may learn the basics and understand what I need to do for different situations.
