Hey how is everyone!
I'm new here and quite excited to be. Here's a little about me.
Names Chris, currently 27, no kids, and i Live in Texas.
I have been taking photos for as long as i can remember. My mother had a very very old SLR style camera that i used to play with growing up, eventually around 2005-06' that camera died/quit, I ended up continuing with one of those small rectangular point and shoot cameras all the way till 2011.

When I graduated from High School in 2011, my graduation gift was a Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm and a 70-300mm lens, which I used all the way to 2016. I did Portraits, Stills, Street, and anything else I could think of, i went on the Scott Kelby Photo Walk when it came to town, and tried to participate in anything else available that involved photography.
In Mid 2016 I had to say goodbye to my Nikon D3100 when the body got destroyed along with the standard lens ( rather not go into how it happened, Just it was a horrible horrible day)

I have not been able to afford a camera, and refuse to go back to a point and shoot till just a few days ago where I finally got myself a Nikon D5100 with the standard 18-55mm and a 55-200mm lens.

It has been so long since I have done photography, I need to relearn several things such as Aperture, Manual, and Shutter settings pretty much anything i can, since i'm starting out new again.

Anyways, here I am. I hope to learn as much as I can and contribute where I can as well.

Chris

Hey Chris, wow what an exciting journey you have had so far!  I'm curious what happened to your D3100.  :)  sorry, your story pulls you in, I have to admit curiosity is winning for me right now.
