Is the Nikon 135mm f/2 DC the King of Bokeh?

I have the shot of picking up a used Nikon 135mm f/2 DC for a good price.  Well I'm waiting on answer.  Is it true this lens is the king of bokeh?

I wouldn't even put it in the top 20.

Me either. There are all kinds of 1.8 and 1.4 lenses that will usually be better.

Don't confuse bokeh with soft focus...:)

No confusion, I own a 200 f/4 micro that produces great bokeh, and soft focus as well....;)

I never got into the soft focus aspect of shooting.  Then again..I don't do portraits. :kmonst:

Exactly.... Bokeh is due to the number & shape of aperture blades, not defocussing of a lens....
