Tempted to buy this used Nikon 24mm tilt-shift lens

I have to say, it's a good deal if you ask me.  The guy is going though a divorce and selling all his gear and sports car very cheap IMO.  This lens which comes with box, receipt from B&H (6 months ago) and everything it came with for $850.

I do shot a little architectural work here and there and the perspective control will be fun to work with.

Would you pick this up for the price?

In a heartbeat. I have the old tilt 28mm f/3.5 which is great. But no tilt, which makes it less useful.Let me know if you decide not to get it, and I'll ask you for the contact info! :)

If you're into architectural work at all, I'd say that's a steal. Grab it while you still can!

How well do you know the guy? Might not hurt to test it out first; after all, you probably wouldn't buy one of his sports cars off of him before taking it around the block once or twice.

I say give it a quick test, and if it is good, go for it. It is not just for one kind of shooting, it is for experimenting with.

Yes, test and buy. If you don't like it its an easy resale....

Why so serious?
