Buying new D7500 today, should I keep my D70 or sell it?

New camera being ordered today!!  I'm so excited.  Now I'm just trying to figure out of I should sell my D70 on Craigslist or keep it.  Do many of you keep your camera bodies as a spare, but then again does it ever get used?

I don't think I'm going to get much for the camera, so almost tempted to keep it.  But still not much how much I would even use it.

Personally, I'd keep it as you never know. That said, I gave mine to my oldest son with a couple of AF lenses when I got my D7100. I also would go with a D7200 before the D7500 as I have lots of older manual focus lenses and the D7500 won't meter with them & the D7200 will. Plus a couple of other features that were dropped on the D7500 rollout that are still on the D7200.

I kept my D70s a few years ago, couldn't get squat for it, had it converted to shoot 720nm Infrared by Lifepixel....A good choice on my part.
I agree with Scott on that "instead" part, but I'd actually opt for the D7100, I love mine....

Why so serious?

I have to agree; for what you'd get for it, it would be a good spare.

I kept my D700 as well, thinking of a super color conversion for that one....
