Any problems with charging Nikon batteries with NON Nikon charger?

I'm looking at a couple different field chargers and wondering if there are any problems that come with charging Nikon batteries with Non Nikon charger?

This one is from Ravpower -
www.amazon.com/EN-EL15-RAVPower-Battery-...arging/dp/B01JG6QWUA

The other one from SR Sun room which is nice with the display window:

Actually that SR Sun Room makes batteries too.  Any experience with these?   www.amazon.com/EN-EL15-Battery-Replaceme...id=1547919346&sr=8-7

G'day Ottis

Talking in generic terms - there should be no difference whatsoever between these devices. Simple: house voltage in and lo voltage out.

I use Panny equipment and the genuine battery chargers are well built but the battery charge / indicator light arrangement is poor ~ it glows green during charging and goes out once done. These $100 chargers are put away in a cupboard and replaced with $25 generic ones where the indicator light changes from red (full charge) to orange (nearly done) to green (fully charged) ~ all of which tells me that there's a tiny circuit inside the charger measuring battery resistance ... obviously missing from the 'genuine' chargers. Handling chargers there is no difference in size & weight etc

Bottom line as far as I'm concerned ... all things being equal, give the generic charger a go

Hope this helps

@Ottis I use the Neewer Dual Charger for the EN-EL14 Battery's and I have not had any problems with it and it seem's to work fine,I also have tried charging my stock Nikon battery and a No-Name brand battery that I got after I got my D5200.

I have owned a few different Neewer product including one of their flash's and a Carbon Fober Tripod and all of their product's have been really good and I have not had any problems with any of their product's I have tried to date.

I also have the some Wasabi Battery's and I have not charged them yet with my Neewer charger but I will be later tonight.

This is a link I copied from your post and it's the one I would go for, also the charge status indicator on mine seems to work pretty good to.

The only problem I could imagine — because I haven't
experienced it — the camera will operate well but, in
the case of firmware update, the original may no longer
be recognised.

Light is free… capturing it is not!
