$1999 for used Nikon 24-70mm VR 82mm lens?

First off does anyone have promo code for MPB?

I have a 24-70mm that is technically on loan from a friend.  I've been looking for a good deal on a 24-70mm 82mm and found this one:  www.mpb.com/en-us/used-equipment/used-ph...8e-ed-vr/sku-792380/

I'm OK with buying used, so in this case you save about $200 bucks from new.  If there was a good promo code, that would make it a better deal.

I'm not sure, I may drive up to B&H this weekend and buy new.  Not sure.  My wife has been wanting to get to the city for a night out.  Perhaps we do weekend out, and I slip out to get a new lens.  LOL

The going rate on eBay is just under $1900. For $200 I would buy new and get the warranty.

Has anyone ever seen a coupon for KEH or MPB? I don't think so.

:agree:   I just did a search here and used on Craigslist is about that $1875 for the cheapest one up to just tad over $2000.  I think I would sway with the warranty too. Seems like a smart move with KEH or MPB to  offer longer warranties.  On items like this where there isn't a big price difference from new, would likely lead to more sales.

Now, that a sweat lens and the price is in the range. If you could
get a new one, this will last you a life time. A "go to" choice.

Eh, tough to say.  1 year warranty and I'd be all over that $200 savings.  6 month, I would REALLY want to save a few bucks in order to surpass the Nikon warranty.

I would say, $300 difference would start me to sway to buying used from new and going with 6 month warranty vs native Nikon.
