Would you move from a Nikon D4s to Nikon Z6?

Would you personally move from the Nikon D4s to something like the Nikon Z6 or even the Z7 (second Z7 for me)?   What would be the reasons you would stay or reasons for the jump?  Personally this move would make me 100% mirrorless.  I have a Z7, but find I don't use my D4s much these days.  So have been thinking about selling my D4s to and buy a Z6 or another Z7 body.

When I buy a mirrorless I'll keep my DSLRs...at least one anyway. The needs aren't the same from person to person, only you can decide. The D4s is dropping in value though, something to consider.

Why so serious?

Why did you buy a D4s in the first place? It's primary advantages are low light shooting and fps, along with built-in grip and robustability. There are other attributes, of course.

All of which out-shine the Z7.

If you're not taking advantages of those things that make the D4s a great camera, then by all means, sell it and move on. Doesn't seem a difficult decision.

I do agree that if you're going to sell, sell now. The going rate appears to be about $2500.

Oh, and to answer your question: no. The Z7 has too many shortcomings. I'll move to mirrorless when those issues get resolved. Probably in 3-4 years.

I don't need the 14fps and I got already two single digit very
reliable built like tanks bodies.

If you want to go for another camera, what are you after really?

He seems to want to free up some cash with a little used system, is my guess. I don't understand the Z6 though.

If he is pro(???) it could be used a second body using
the same lens mount everywhere…

But then, it is the D4 I don't understand!!!

Yeah, I have to agree.  Now if you were looking a physical size only, then that's another story.

Two completely different types of cameras here.  Do you shoot a lot of sports?  If so go with the D4, if you are into video and decent stills, go with the Z6.  Z6 you need to buy all new glass or deal with the adapter.

First off, depends what you are going to be doing with the camera.  For me, I'm more interested in the video of the Z6 and the smaller size, so you got my answer.  However I'm a Canon shooter, however same principles apply.
