Best budget friendly Nikon landscape lenses for 2019?

4 years 5 months ago #665002 by Marin Chi
In terms of full frame lenses, what are some budget friendly landscape lens options?  I want something that is as sharp as I can get and least $$ as possible.

Thanks for your help.

I shoot landscapes successfully with everything
between 14 mm and 600 mm… I would be hard
pressed to tell what is the best!

If you fine tune the AF of any given lens to your
D750, unless defective, they can all be sharp.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

ADDENDUM

As for the "friendly budget" aspect of it,
I can't be of much help there.

The Nikon 16-35 f/4 would be my pick.

Why so serious?

Most any focal length lens will work for landscape images.... Lots of folks will suggest wide angle lenses but as I said, most any lens will work. It just depends on what you want your composition to include. As for budget friendly gear, older manual focus lenses (if your camera can utilize them) will cost less than the latest and greatest and the bells and whistles of the latest and greatest are not really needed for landscape images...

600mm for landscape photos?  You must be getting in really close!

No, more likely the landscape in question is farther away.

Haha...Not to mention that 600 f/4 is probably twelve grand over the OP's budget?

Why so serious?
