Nikon is Dying

As much as I think these guys are full of their own BS and incredibly smug at times.  I do believe they are on point with Nikon and the recovery game plan they outline in this video.

AGAIN?

Don't they have other things to do?   :nunu:

Nope, still don't care.

Their primary goal is to attract viewers to generate advertising revenue. People might say or do anything to accomplish that goal.

Jared Polin is another example of that behavior.

So: meh'

Every time Nikon seems slow at delivery of something new its because they're going bust. I doubt Nikon execs pay much attention to the negative nabobs of doom and gloom.....

Totally just after the clicks.  I don't believe Nikon is going to go anywhere.  It's to large of a brand, someone will come along and pick it up.

No, NikonShooter, apparently they don't have anything better to do! not when they can make money doing videos... Anyone with a YouTube channel I think makes money from the ads that accompany their videos. So the more people read/look or follow, the more money the person/people make from their channel.

There are at least a couple of threads on here about Nikon and I've also seen it elsewhere, so to me it seems like just rumors going around.

They make some good points in the video about what Nikon could do to improve their business model.  However their over the top topic is just click bait.

Nikon Z6 | Nikon FM10 | Nikon D80 | Nikon 50mm f/1.8D | Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S VR | 35-105mm f/3.5 Macro | 80-200mm f/4.5 | SB600 | Pocket Wizard II

I looked up Nikon's 2018 annual report.  They were profitable.

Yeah, they control growth, which in turn reigns in losses. Sony for example would fold in a year if it wasn't for their insurance sales....
