Nikon XQD memory card, only 64GB??

First off, who's making this card for Nikon?

Second, why only 64GB available?  64GB is such a small card considering file sizes these days.

First off, it looks like Sony made and Nikon sold.

Second, I have the Sony 128GB and it is big enough
for a 4 day long Masterclass shooting with the D850.

I took 128 MB because that was all I could get with the
new body but I would have preferred for two 64 IYAM.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Interesting, 64GB became small very quickly.....

Why so serious?

Sony is making their sensors, wouldn't be surprised that Sony made these cards for Nikon.

Sony manufactures the sensors for Nikon. Nikon designs them, or at least leads the design effort. I'm of a mind that the newer Sony sensors are a result of the development with Nikon.

Not many folks make XQD cards, so those are likely produced by Sony.

Come on, CFE.

Interesting how Nikon and Sony are competitors in the big picture, however work so closely with the sensors.  Sony must not see much threat in Nikon, or there is far more to this story.

Heck yes, and considering next round of cameras are already over 50MP and sailing past 70MP

Damn, 128GB will be the next 16GB cards in your desk drawer not getting used!
