Which to choose

3 years 11 months ago #685335 by hobsong58
Hi all started wedding photography I have been using two Nikon Z6's with a Z35, Z50 and Z85. I'm torn between a Nikon Z 24-70 f2.8 and a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 E FL ED any advice of preference among you would be helpful. I know there's a new Z 70-200 coming out but can't justify the price they are asking.

Thanks.

Personally, I'd opt for the Z 24-70 so as not to have to get an adapter as well...

In that case, the 70-200 will extend your focal length range. past what you have now... Your call really though...

Yes it would, just wondering if the 24-70 would get more use.

Well, you probably want to figure that out first.

There's a lot to be said for the 70-200, especially when shooting fairly wide open.

Considering the investment and the long term commitment,
getting the right one is critical unless you're planning on both
in the future.

Light is free… capturing it is not!
