Nikon F Mount owners, are you planning for the switch?

1 month 5 days ago #690012 by E Rodriguez
Out of curiosity, any F mount owners planning for the one day switch to the Z mount?  Seems like Nikon is focusing on this as of lately.  Just like the transition from film to digital back in the day.  Seems DSLR to Mirrorless is well on its way.

Now I may be wrong, but it seems like there is a technological advantage with owning a mirrorless.

I'm not. I am already shooting mirrorless with several Olympus cameras and adapters for all my older glass...

Me neither… ever!

At this point, I see not much that "Z"s can do better… certainly
not the EVF for one MAJOR point.

No way ever!

Light is free… capturing it is not!

What switch?

It's not like existing DSLR lenses will stop working, and as long as I have DSLR bodies, and no compelling reason to move to mirrorless, I'm good.

If, at some point, I need a Z body, I know that the adapter works a treat, so I won't have to change glass. The only thing would be to add more. Happily, I'm left with a very short list now, not all of which is Nikon glass.
