LCD screen not working properly on Nikon D810

1 month 3 weeks ago #692805 by Vahrenkamp
Morning.  So the LCD screen on my Nikon D810 isn't working as it should.  Well not at all.  When I switch the camera on, the LCD screen just stays off, nothing happens, no flickers, no nothing.  I have checked the firmware and tried reseting things.

Any ideas of what I could check?

Thank you!

Have you tried removing and replacing the battery or a hard reset? It might be the internal battery needs replacing...

Possibly, the camera was locked accidentally?
Just unlock it and check again.

Low batteries may be causing your LCD not to work. Try replacing the batteries and also try turning the camera on and off.
