Only come lately to this site, but for your really long shots (300mm), Turbogirlie, how have you found the results ?
I have an E-620, and even using a beanbag found the images a little soft.

Hi - sorry for the delay, have been somewhat distracted elsewhere.

I've gotten used to the idiosyncrasies of the 70-300mm, yes it is a little soft, but I shoot in RAW, therefore always process my images through PS (Elements 8 or CS5.1) and, in the Editor mode, apply clarity & also sharpening (usually around 70) as the image dictates.  The sharpening usually does the trick.  I have also read that if your camera has image stabilisation, & you are tripod mounted (or on a beanbag as you are), that by leaving the IS on, it'll get some softness/blurriness from the motor, so try turning that feature off if applicable.

I'm actually very impressed with the 70-300, after getting used to it.

Luv Turbogirlie
