Best vlogging lens for the Panasonic GH5?

New toy alert!!!

Well the body is on it's way.  I want to start a vlog and have read the GH5 is the bees knees here.  Just haven't jumped into researching the lenses yet.

I don't suppose any of you could tell me what is the best vlogging lens for this camera, something that I can hand hold the camera and have a nice frame around me?

My M4/3 is the Oly E-M5. If you mean selfies from arm's length (no stick) anything from 12 to 17mm will be Ok. I tried these focal lengths with a zoom. I thought 20mm was a little too tight. Of course lots of M4/3 lenses fall into that 12-17 range. IQ with any of those, prime or zoom, will be fine for video. But I have no clue how they compare for quiet operation or manual control.

A buddy has this camera, it's a nice camera, I've tried it out a few months ago with him.  Nice ergonomics.

I just saw this post jump up.  So this camera has a micro 4/3rds sensor right?  Why would you use this over APS-C or full frame?

Sorry I'm just not familiar with the 4/3rds world.

Light weight, excels at video (read some reviews). Frankly, there are other Pany options that are less expensive, and anyone should consider the G9 now. But one big point of the GH5 is in-body IS, which makes it easier to capture stable video. You can see how that would appeal to vloggers.

And if you want to consider the maths: HD video is 1920 x 1080, or about 2MP. 4K video is 3840 x 2160 or just under 8MP. Why would anyone need a larger sensor (i.e. more MP) for that? Noise in video kinda disappears... it's not nearly the issue it is in still photography.

The Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 Art DC HSM Lens is a winner for the GH5.  Just know that your autofocus will take a step backwards with this lens and be a little bit slow.  Overall this is considered one of the must have lenses for this camera.  BTW it's a Canon lens, so you'll need adapter.
