Living Room Setup Question
I set the lights as far away as was prctical in the small space I had and both were set to their lowest power setting. both were triggered using the pop-up flash on my Olympus E-510 set at 1/32 power. My problem is that I wanted to get a fairly shallow D.O.F to throw the backdrop out of focus a bit and also I wanted the second flash to just illuminate the backdrop a little. In the event I just got too much light and as I was using the pop-up flash the fastest shutter speed I could use on the Oly was 100/sec (sync speed) so I had no alternative but to stop the lens down to about f10. and even then I've had to burn the background down a fair bit. any tips on anything else I can do to combat this problem or any other critique of these pics would be most welcome, many thanks, Mike
