Thank you so much everyone! I started doing this a few months ago and found that I really love it. However I don't have a clue what I'm doing. There are so many settings on my camera and I had to go to the library and get a book for dummies along with reading the manual just to figure it out. (No joke! lol ) I was a little nervous to post them on here but really needed to know if I had a chance at this or if I should just hang it up. I really enjoy doing it and I read about photography all the time and am looking at people's pictures nonstop. I thank you all for your wonderful comments. I can't tell you how happy that makes me. A special thanks to you Photobob for all your help you've been wonderful!

By NO Means should you Hang It Up. You have an eye for it... that much I can see.... Some people take pictures for the sake of taking pictures... You on the other hand, take pictures that are captivating. Keep it up and I look forward to seeing more of your photos in the days to come... :welcomeclan

First of all, these shots are excellent.

Just two minor points. The second one... not too sure about the hat. It seems to be blown out and is perhaps a bit distracting.

The first one technically has a problems there is hair all over her face. I personally like it though as it gives a sense of movement to the picture... but hair in the face is something to be wary of.

Very good job.

nice!

Number 1 is my favorite, but number 2 is very close... I love that "otherworldliness" that can come with overexposure.

Don't read anymore! It may interfere with your natural talent.

#1 is my favourite.

Well done
