Number 33 is a bit of a noisy background the baby gets lost on there, but the other two are awsome :judge: :judge: :judge:

Dont forget to click insert before submitting then the photos will come up full size, you can click on edit and do it now if you wish

The first pose looks awkward, seems to be an unnatural position for a newborn. The second one as others said needs some adjustment done. I think the third one is lovely, the more simple natural pose is the most expressive I think.

The funny thing is that is why I like the first shot. It isn't the usual pose for a newborn.

Just my opinion. ;)

I love the first & last images as is. I would like to see how the second would look as the baby in color with the background left B&W (selective color), I think it would make the baby stand out & appear less busy. I do like the pose though. Very good images.

Yeah, it's personal preference, I like something that looks more realistic than a child propped in whatever position. (Partly a former (before early retirement) occupational hazard - spent a lot of years working w/preemies.)

Actually this was very safe , as it was done in a composite. It was the intentional to put the newborn in that pose, im sure you have seen others, if not look up "baby as Art" :)

I would be interested in your composite technique on that photo. I think they're great photos, plain and simple. The second one does get lost a little bit, but I think selective color would make it worse. That is really gimmicky these days and it's hard to pull off well. I think the baby just being larger in the frame would have solved the problem, really.
