here's some pics from one of the senior sessions I did. This one more personal b/c these girls are more like neices to me. I've known them since they were really young and they've been best friends since practically birth. Had a lot of fun with these. Comments and critiques welcome and appreciate! thanks :)

Really like #2. But I would crop to remove that curly piece of iron over her head.

I think you got some lovely photos of the girls, with really good color and composition. The images are nice and sharp with flattering backgrounds. These are really nice, I'd just think about a little adjustment of the framing/cropping - maybe in the first having the bottom edge of the photo end above the hem of the dress, but still leaving space below the fingertips.

In the middle photo I can't tell if the stone steps might be on a slope, but the railing at the top makes the photo appear as if it isn't straight. Just cropping to remove the metal bar to the farthest right might take care of that, because the others seem to blend into the sunlight in the background and aren't noticeable.

The third one makes me feel like I'm a little too close but I couldn't figure out why - then I noticed not all of the length of their hair shows. I'd have thought about framing the photo so all the hair shows, or maybe it could be cropped differently. You got some beautiful pictures of them that they'll enjoy.

:agree:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

BEAUTIFUL shots and beautiful girls. You did a GREAT job on these senior pics. I love the clarity and the vibrant colors. I think the second is my favorite because I like the texture and color of the stones in the wall.

I like the swirl in the second pic. I vote leave it in. Very professional looking photographs.

Good job controlling shadows. Agree with excellent color and clarity. Admirable.

#1: agree on the crop. Seems a bit vacant. Also, what I'm finding indicates that fingers should not be spread apart. Something about it just looks odd (tome). YMMV.
#2: Straighten it. Not a fan of the wacky angle thing, in general. Leave the wrought iron in the background, but make it level. Again, my $0.02.
#3: I'd crop tighter, or looser. Perhaps it is the hair, as stated above, that seems not quite right. For me, the girls don't seem quite as comfortable in this shot. I can not stress enough: for me.

Overall:
