I dig very much what you did in #2… have
you considered a monochrome rendition?

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I like the pose for this one -

I would increase the fill light a bit.  And play with the vibrance in post, there seems to be a slight tint of some sort.

Not meaning you are wrong, Kelly but I wouldn't…
as the treatment is manifestly a legitimate, prede-
termined and successfully rendered artistic intent.

Of course… IMO and taste. :)

A well done set and I like the third one best but would be inclined to crop above her forearms.

I'm going to agree with Kelly: her skin appears to be on the green side on my monitor.

The focal plane is off in most of these:
1) Plane of focus appears to be behind her eyes?
2) Plane of focus is clearly on the outer seam of the hood. Not her eyes.
3) Plane appears to be behind here eyes, judging by the hair on her left.
4) Plane of focus looks to be right on his eyes.
5) Smaller aperture, the but best focus is on the back of his hair (our upper left).
6) Appears to be a bit forward and on the jacket zipper.
7) Excellent due to a smaller aperture.
8) Pretty good. On her lips but a bit in front of her right eye.

I don't care for missed focus, but that's just me.

The attempt to replace the background in #7 is unfortunate. The halo is very distracting.

I like the pose in #3 best as well, along with the coloring. I'm not sure why anyone would want her arms cropped at the elbows. We don't do that. This crop is perfect.

I like the crop in #7.

I like the pose and crop in #8 as well, but would vignette a bit to darken that shoulder. It's too bright. Love the way the shadow and hair frame her face.

But that's just me.
